Refurbished rig prepared for upcoming installation at RAF site

Posted 22/01/2026

We are pleased to announce the successful refurbishment of a fire training rig that is scheduled for installation at a Royal Air Force (RAF) site in the near future, supporting continued investment in high-quality, realistic emergency response training.

The refurbishment programme focused on extending the operational life of the existing rig from another location while enhancing its reliability, safety, and training capability. Key elements of the system have been upgraded to ensure consistent performance and improved control during live training exercises.

The refurbished rig has been prepared to deliver realistic fire training scenarios within a controlled environment, allowing instructors to safely manage and adapt exercises in real time. The system supports repeatable training evolutions, ensuring personnel can develop and maintain critical operational skills aligned with current training standards.

Once installed, the rig will form a key part of the site’s training infrastructure, supporting both operational and refresher training programmes. The project reflects our continued commitment to delivering robust, dependable training solutions for defence and aviation environments.

We are proud to support the RAF through the refurbishment and upcoming installation of this training asset and look forward to seeing it contribute to effective training delivery at the site.
