FCS offer a complete range of live fire behaviour training products designed and manufactured to achieve realistic live fire environments which enable fire-fighters to understand the conditions of fire and backdraughts. Whilst much fire behaviour knowledge will be taught in the classroom, our realistic fire training systems give firefighters invaluable hands-on experience in a safe environment.
FCS have just completed a system for Royal Berkshire Fire & Rescue Services which incorporates a fully computer controlled system to monitor and record the time and temperature the fire training personnel are exposed to whilst training within the building. The building consists of 2 floors operating carbonaceous fires and 1 floor operating an LPG fireplace and flashover effect fires.
The system fully complies with the Fire Service Manual vol 4 “management of the risk of heat stress during training”
